Custom Garb for Field and Feast

Postby Lady Moonstone » Mon May 23, 2011 10:11 pm

Lady Moonstone here. I am looking to make some commissions on fighting and feast garb.
A few examples:

My satisfied clients include Sir Karion D'Learive, Sir Fitz, Sir Par Ohmsford, Sir Warghoul, Sir Thayne, Lady Avelina of Ebonhold, all of the Forsaken, and nearly every member of Shannara. I have been nominated four years running for Best Feast Garb at Chaos Wars, and my work is well-known in the Western realms.
I can create hakima or wraparound pants, tunics, feast shirts, doublets, surcoats (for knights only), and feast dresses. I can use satin, broadcloth, canvas, velvet, brocade, and suede, to name a few.
I take PayPal. I will also be attending War of the Forbidding in June and Chaos Wars in July, for those who would like to see my work firsthand.
Send me a PM if you'd like to make an order. I do require payment in advance, to purchase fabric. Basic hakima or a tunic cost thirty-five. If you require a custom piece or feast garb, I can quote you a price.

Thanks!

I've seen her work first hand, its great. And 35$ for a basic tunic or hakima is a killer deal.

I endorse this.

I may be able to make an exception if either your knighting is imminent this season, and the knight to whom you are squired wants you to have a surcoat.

make him a surcoat, they look cool, are period, and used by more then knights. just my opinion(beer induced) but I see no problem with others wearing surcoats. Hell we even have horde who wear them here!
My favorite color is beer.

Not to go against Cedric or anything as he is practically my * brother, but to me surcoats are more a status of Knighthood. Yes they are period and yes they are awesome, but to me that is one of those awesome things you get as a Knight. I have similar feelings towards non-knights using the heater design shield. Call me pretentious but there it is.

As a pirate I would like to state that I could have "stolen" any item and then be wearing/using it. The Fantasy side of this game opens it up to Monsters raiding and doing the same thing.... So watch your clothes knights or we may come pirate them away. :pirate:

PS- Guys buy your ladies some dresses, Moonstone can make some VERY pretty things!

^^ I support this statement! The work she does is indeed phenomenal, and well worth it. She has spent many hours creating something for someone, and will not let it leave the house until she is completely satisfied with it.

Thanks for the endorsements, all! Some additional info regarding prices:
Feast dresses start at $75.00 for a basic dress, up to $200.00 for something elaborate and multi-layered, with jewelry. I make the jewelry by hand, as well.
Gentleman's feast garb starts at $80.00 for a set, including trousers, vest, and shirt.
Anything I haven't made before will be priced according to estimated difficulty and materials.

I am in need to feast garb but I don't quite have the skills required to make them. If I provide you with the material can we work out a price?
