Anybody wanna buy this nice helmet?
comes with a stand and a really comfortable liner, fits me and I have a fat head so it'll probably fit most anyone.
It has a few scuffs but I think it looks sweet. I love the brows.
Its metal(duh) but im not sure how thick but plenty to pass im sure.
I was thinking 80ish maybe +shipping

Does it come with or without the aventail?

With, I just connected it to the lining today. I think it looks much better with it.

And that's for sure 16g steel? I'll spread the word to my kinsmen. It's a nice helm for 80 bucks.

If you aren't sure how thick it is you can just take it down to a hardware store and use one of their gauges for free.

Why do you need it 16g? honestly its probably 18g like allot of helmets but with the lining I don't think I can accurately measure it, the nasal and brows are far thicker.

A lot of us do SCA as well as Bel/Dag. If it were 16 gauge or thicker in many places it would be legal for sca, and all we would have to do is add a bargrill to it. Unfortunately 16 gauge is too light for my area, and i would need 14 gauge.

18 gauge is great for larps and bel/dag, but not SCA Heavy

SCA is 14g or thicker tempered steel. Usually cold rolled. The reason 18g sucks is because of how pliable it actually is. Still talking to the guys.. Everyone in the clan already has at least one helmet. But it's nice enough that we are talking about just putting 20 bucks in each and snagging it from ya.

I guess my real worry about the thickness is how pliable is the nasal?

I am also interested. Is there a size? I don't see it available in different sizes on that website, so I assume that is a 'no'.
