UNIT SYMBOLS IN PRECIOUS METALS!!

HAIL AND WELL MET!

my aunt is a gold smith she can make things out of bronze, copper, silver, and gold. and we have been discussing doing unit/personal symbols in precious metals obviously the price would be dependent on size, detail, actual metal, or if its a pendent for a necklace, a ring, ect. also if u want a necklace with it and what metal what this thred is for is to get a feel for who all would like one i realize that some of the unit symbols out there are copyrighted so those would have to be special order ONLY so we avoid any legal issues. let me know so i can get some pix to her of the symbols so we can start getting some awsem bling out there!!

well we havent started yet i will be getting some hopefully soon was trying to get a feel for how many peeps would be interested before i go producing some things that i'm gonna end up keeping cause no one wants lol but as soon as i get some i will post promptly

My aunt is sending me some of the stuff that she has been working on... I should have it in a week or two....Once I get it I will post the pics of what she has sent me.... I will also have that at thaw brawl and so if you are comming to thaw and like the pics, I will have that there and for sell.

hey. that's a good idea, but it will be expensive, especially if you use gold, so something you can do to make it cheaper, iron is cheap, i mean the cheapest you can find unless you melt down aluminum cans (which would also be cheap) then you could make the shape ring or crest you want and then take brass foil/silver foil/gold leaf and simply apply it to the outside of the ring/crest and make it a whole lot cheaper, either that or electroplate it on, i currently am learning electroplating, i electroplate with copper brass and i have an old silver spoon i found so i will try to electroplate silver soon. I am very busy but i will try to post pics if you want a pic, but only if you want to see it, although i would like the thread maker to say yes as whether or not i should as to not 'take over' the thread =)
