If you're tired of getting whupped by your realm, here's a few more options for you:

1.) Don't buy armor and improve in skill the way all good fighters do: PRACTICE.
2.) Cheese it.
3.) Become eternal-herald for your realm (whether by your own choice, or via injury, a la Ninuvin).

Armour simply makes you more lazy...the advantage is obviously there, but armour won't save you from a good fighter; you'll just take a little more killing.

I agree, most of the time I don't even wear the armor I own. If you want new armor, I suggest www.schmitthenner.com

The prices have gone up a bit, but he's nothing but quality.

There are a lot of good armouries around lately.
kingslance.com
wolfgaard.com (expensive leather but good stuff)
museum replica's is awsome but expensive

But if you'd rather get some bran spanking new chainmail shirt with a coif i know of a place were you can get it for $100!!!!!!!
It's an ebay store called the golden parrot i believe, it's wear i got mine and it was a great deal for good maile.

But as the others said, work on your own fighting too. Get your fients done faster, strike quicker, or just learn to be more agile.

My two cents.....great now i'm broke

I'm set up as a wholesale dealer for them. Anything you find in the Museum Replicas catalog, I can order for 30-40% off. Minimum order is $150, and shipping charges are extra. But I don't do any retail markup.

Camber, I'll keep that in mind. M R has alot of cool stuff I want. I buy a weapon from them about once a year. What are those leather helms they sell like? Are they heavey enough leather for our rules? I know a few people who want them, but, they don't want them if they are too thin for Bel.
Thanks
FB
PS: If that other dude still need armour I can make him some. But like everywhere else, it's pricey.
