why wouldn't the glaive follw the same rules as a sword??
to my understanding a glaive uses a sword style striking surface, just in a pole arm fashon with an extended haft padded area
:EDIT:
when i was reading about some of the reason for the new weapon lengths and wieghts i came acrossed something that said you guys were looking for a way to get rid of the 3 ft. glaive
I personally see glaives as being very long weapons that somewhat resemble swords, so basically why would any sword like weapon be allowed in that fashion, especialy a class 2 weapon
i'm just currius on if my understanding is felt by most others
if for some odd reason my understandings are flawed please explaine to me how because i don't think there is any wording on glaives in the BoW that can really help me understand better
Edit:
so basically cyric biulding a glaive instead of a sword just to get around the rules, couldn't that be considered creative interptitaion of the rules ?which is entirly illegal to do all together
