one handed short glaive

Postby Lekey » Wed Sep 07, 2005 9:59 am

Would it be legal to strap a weapon to your arm? The reason I was wondering is I wanted to hold a short glaive with one hand. In theory I would put a strap around the end of the glaive (at the base of the pommel), put my arm through it and hold the glaive with my hand. It is a bit off the wall, and I am not sure if it would pass, but I thought it would be worth a try.

Don't strap weapons to your arm. It's unsafe.

edit: unless you're just talking a lanyard; that's fine.

Very confusing question, but I agree with you Obryn that Liefie's talking about a lanyard.

Also, a "one-handed glaive" is what most people think of as an axe. As a polearmsman, I prefer to keep terms like glaive, halberd and the like to denote Class II weapons (Red) rather than shorter Class I ones.

Also, for future reference, please keep your thread title in this forum in synch with the topic.
