Question popped up the other day with some discussion, figured this be the place to find the answer.

What is the deal with holding the blade of your weapon to to make a block? Do i loose the hand and thus the arm? Because as far as i knew that was legal?

Technically it is legal to hold the blade of the weapon when blocking considering the blade of the weapon is your own.
