Halberds, Glaives, and the Like

Postby Xarplo » Sat Oct 01, 2005 12:03 am

My friend decided that for his prefered weapon, he wanted a glaive. Well we were talking about how you can use class three weapons and what-not, and we got stuck on the rules concerning swinging them. I searched the BoW, and couldn't find anything to help. So here's my question: Can class three weapons with a large striking surface (e.g. glaives and halberds) deal damage when swung like a class one or two weapon, or can they only do damage when thrust?

A glaive is a red/green weapon, so it can do damage from either a swing with the blade, or a thrust with the stabbing tip. Remember, you can only score a red hit if you have 2 hands on the weapon, if you swing it one handed it counts as a blue hit.
