Question about rocks

I was wondering if it woud be legal to use a sling to throw rocks with. I am looking into both the staff style as well as the standard thong & pouch sling. Any answers ould be appreciated.

There is nothing in the rules prohibiting rocks to be thrown from a sling. We had a big discussion on this topic a few months ago. What was decided was that historical slings (those on a staff) or swung slings are OK. Modern rubber based sling shots though were generally determined to be not acceptable.

On a further note, ask one of your heralds before using a "David and Goliath" style sling, as there were concerns posted about the end of the sling lashing forward as the rock is released.
