I was looking for what cores are legal. i know Fiberglass rods and pvc as those are what i use but what are the others?

Wood, Bamboo, rattan, pretty much anything that is not metal.

If you are going to use any wood cores, be sure to tape the whole thing to prevent splintering when they break.
