Buckler question

Would a 15" x 7" rectangular buckler be allowed by the rules? I know that the minimum dimension for the face of a shield is 12", but is that in one direction or in more than one direction?

ap 2.4. The minimum dimension on the face of a shield is 12 inches.
No. 7" < 12". A simple way to check this is to draw a 12" circle on the ground (or use a cardboard cut out) and then place the shield on top of it. If the shield does not completely cover the circle it fails.
