asking around on foam legality, please bear with

should we change a rule that has to do with the layers of foam. i find that swords over 6ft need more padding or else you get seriously injured. my hand was bested last saturday because the sword had too much flex and not enough padding. you do not realize how fast you can move that thing poeple! especially with only a mere four layers of foam. a sword that long needs at least 7 layers of foam minimum. please post and argue with me, not that i like it, but that i think its neccessary. i realize i face persucution, but i face it head-on.
