Anviling Rules

Postby Makieus » Fri Jun 16, 2006 2:46 pm

Question that came up in our practice last night.

A figher was using a single-sided Blue sword. With his free hand, would at times put it on the back side of the sword (non-bladed portion) and would block incoming blows.

As far as I can tell, technically this is anviling, and he should lose his arm. It was decided he could continue to fight like that, without losing his arm until a decision could be made about it.

Any thoughts?
