stabbing with my red

I am a big awesome scotsman who refuses to wield your puny blue swords that way less than my right nut, and isntead wield a six foot claymore sword that could eat you. Unfortunatley it's a bit hefty, and can be the death of me when fighting a quick opponent.

It has no stabbing tip, but would it be admissible to thrust at a person and/or his shield to push them back and create room to wield my weapon without counting as a hit, or is it considered too dangerous to do this without the extra padding that would be on a green weapon.

to reiterate, can i stab with my big claymore to create distance without couting the hits.
