arrow deflection

Postby Mimic » Fri Feb 18, 2011 2:45 pm

arrows have to deflect 30 degrees to count as a hit. so how does that factor if say you get a graze shot of say 5 or 10 degrees. by the rules it doesnt count as a hit right?

and i hate how fast you guys close the post! i cant even thank you!

Yes, that's the point of the rule.

A grazing shot that deflects less than 30 degrees is not a valid hit.

if it's under 30 degrees it should not be taken as a hit. If you are unsure, ask the archer for clarification.

Ultimately it is up to the archer to call a questionable shot. Good archers will tell you not to take a hit that does not deflect enough. bad archers will call it as a hit. either way, you will be up again in a minute, so it's not that big of a deal.
