lets say 2 guys have arms gone and they're against an armored opponent. they decide to pick up a spear, each of them with one hand making 2 hands on the weapon, and stab him in the chest. would it pierce? or does ONE person have to have 2 OF THEIR OWN hands on the weapon for it to count? the same scenario could play out for a red and shield breaking. 2 guys coordinate picking up a red with their remaining hands (2 total) and swing to try and break shields.
i know this is ridiculous but a noob friend brought this up today out of the blue.

This isn't explicitly covered in the rules, so what you're going to get here are a lot of opinions. Just fair warning.

My personal opinion would be that yes, it should count. I mean, if two guys manage to pull that goofy **** off, then the person being hit should just take it. If only out of shame. If it was me, I would. Then I'd go sit on the sidelines and feel bad for a while.

The BOW says a two handed strike. Two hands on it and its a go. I actually saw this happen a few weeks ago. Hish, and someone else, two handed an armored guy in the back with a spear.
