Counter wieghting and balance?

Is there any rules on where the balance can be on any of my counter wieghted weapons. the only reason I ask is some one told me that where was. and it has brought dout in to my mind and I know there is no rule for it in the book of war.

There is not, there is in some other foam fighting games, but not ours.

There are no specific rules, however, I would suggest you make them balance approx. 1-3 inches from the top of the handle area, on the blade. Any farther into the handle and it's all wrist to move the weapon in the direction you want it to go. A little above and the weapon will swing itself and all you have to do is guide it on it's path. If you plan to ever cross over into Dagorhir, they must balance above the handles.

Rutu - If I remember correctly, there was a proposed Dagorhir rule preventing weapons from being balanced any lower than 1" above the handle. As the Southern Marches policy (last I checked) is to reflect the most strict requirements of both Dagorhir and Belegarth, you'll need to check over with them to see if that rule was passed or not. I think it was, but you should do the homework for yourself.
