Horns on a helm?

Horns on a helm?

Is it possible to put horns on a leather helmet or any helmet that are made out of cam pad or some sort of foam that is safe and of those horns were big enough that they wouldn't go into anybodies eyes? And if not why?

You can't have any protrusions bigger than a 1/2 off armor. other than that it would be up to weapon's checker's discretion.
