another javelin question...

Now I just like the feel of a jav and have no intention of throwing it at all. on top of that I am a martial artist (Aikido) so grappling is my thing (I heart human sheilds).

But, in the rule book there is a rule against grappling or being grappled by a person with a projectile. Is there anyway I could just call it a big punch dagger or a lance or maybe overweight it so that it fails the new javelin rules?

that rule generally refers to people with bows and arrows. javs are padded all over, so i dont think anyone will yell at you for grappling with a jav, as long as you are safe about it.
