Kneeling while having both legs

Is it legal, to kneel on the field, while during a fight, when both of your legs are still in play? Sometimes it appears that this person is taking a knee, but other times I know he has both of his knees up, and he is just squatting. It just doesn't seem to be legal, it is off-putting, and makes himself seem legged. So is this legal, or not?

People with two good legs should only squat. If you kneel, even for a second, someone might look over and see you on one leg and thing you're legged. if a person goes to one knee in a non safety related issue, they should stay there.

The rule your looking for is it's illegal to "fake an injury." If you trip, just get back up as soon as safetly possible. But don't go down on a knee on purpose unless you're hit in a leg.

The only time I can think of that I dropped to a knee to do something was arching during woods battles and city battles, I might drop to a knee for a better firing position, but at that point it's pretty clear what I'm doing.
