OK this is probably a stupid question but I was thinking of reds and shields and had these thoughts:
A shield is broken by a red, but before it can be disposed of it's hit by a blue this blue shot still carries through to the arm, right, because though normally blues don't have any effect on shields , the shield was still broken.
On a similar note, wearing a greave under a strap shield is probably useless, save in the off chance situation one happens. After all reds cut through armor in one hit and carry through to the area. So on hit #3 you'ld still lose your arm. (Of course if one wanted to switch styles between battles then wearing that piece of armor under the shield would be convenient, though tactically useless as mentioned before.)
Is my analysis correct or am I missing something?
