2.4. The minimum dimension on the face of a shield is 12 inches.
I have acquired a tear drop shaped block of foam I plan on turning into a buckler which is about 16 inches tall with the width being 9 inches at the widest point and tapering down to a 4 inch width at the point. My question is which dimensions are we talking about in this rule? Is it that at both the tallest point and the widest point need to be at least 12 inches? In which case I would need to run a few racetracks of foam around the outer edge to bulk up the width. The other thought is that the "pointed" end would need to be at least 12 inches across as well but I have seen some full sized shields that taper down to less than 12 inches so that adds to my confusion.
Thank you in advance for your answer whatever it may be.
