Flanging on double ended weapons?

Postby Venomus » Thu Jun 19, 2014 12:47 am

I am thinking of making a double ended weapon and I so I was looking over the rules for them. It says they have to made in a cylinder fashion for the striking surfaces. would it be legal to add flanging to them like maces?

The purpose of the rule is to ensure that double ended weapons have 360 degrees of striking surface, as when striking behind one's self it's difficult to determine blade orientation. As long as your flanged mace meets that criterion (360 degrees of striking), then it would be within the spirit of the rule.
