Personally I prefer an axe because yeah shooting someone in the head is fun but it dosn't take as much skill to kill with a bow than with an axe. Now I understand that some skill is needed to use a bow properly and I am not dissing bows; I just prefer to use an axe.

I just don't like to use ranged weapons so i choose the axe but given the choice i would take a sword over an axe

Why compare axe to bow? Why not axe to sword or bow to javelin?
Just wondering.
But for me it is the bow hands down.

axe, becuze it looks cooler and bows have alot of rules

Why choose? why not just use both? kill the peoples with the bow and if you run out of ammo, or if you get charged, pull out thy trusty axe and kill the peoples with that! :angel:

tis a very awkward comparison. very different weapons of different applications and skill. but tis best to combine the two weapons, the axe for close protection, the bow for long range sniping.

better comparisons are of bow-javelin, sword-turbo club-mace-flail-axe...
