Yeah, that was me who linked to this thread. I like to do that because it's such a good read, and people who haven't seen it already always ask questions about the ten footer. any incidental posting that happens here is not my fault, but usually very fun.

Is that sword actually still in use?

I probably would know if I could actually make it to practice, but my life has the odd ability to suck and blow at the same time, so I am never able to make it.

we had a build day and i made a 6 ft one inch giant sword just to see if i could make it . it was light for its size and others from our group are always trying to borrow it . i am not ready to use it but it really looked menacing in exhibition. i really like it but am learning quarterstaff right now , which is fun and interesting . it came out well and i was glad to have the experience of making it .
