Foam question

Postby Brogas » Tue Jul 11, 2006 11:35 am

Yesterday at work I was admiring the contruction of a newer water pump house that they are building on plant property, when lo and behold I see foam! So as I'm sure anyone would I went to investigate.

The foam which is called Green Guard seemed quite rigid and afetr giving a few test punches and good hits with a nearby broom handle, I noticed no visible signs of abuse. After looking Green Guard up on the net I see it is an Extruded Polystyrene foam insulation, which seems to have a few applications in building construction.

My question is has anyone had any contact with this product? And if so what were the results when you used it? Seems to me that it would make a good selection for shield construction, but as I have not made any weapons or shield, for that matter, I am unsure of its reliabilty.
