painting on canvas

Postby hirandara » Mon Jan 10, 2011 11:44 pm

Can you use wall paint for painting on canvas? I want to paint on canvas with a particular color that is only available as a wall paint (Liquid Blue - Behr paint, from Home Depot), will it be okay to use on a canvas painting.

Short answer is yes.
Long answer is don't. What the **** are you doing?
There is no way that only Behr house paint makes the color you want. Look harder. Accrylic is better, not to mention it come in every **** color ever.
Stop being so picky. The exact tone of blue you want is not important. I't going to be a different shade on canvas that it is on a sheetrock wall. It's going to fad like hell in the sun anyway.
Again, why, what the **** are you doing?

Also, if you're set on wall paint for whatever, make sure to buy exterior wall paint. It's designed to be stronger and hold up against the elements better.

oh yeah, and....

i believe this classification of internet annoyance would be known as the troll actually. someone who says things simply to elicit an emotional response. granted this is easy with forkbeard around.

It's a bot. It finds a thread with a topic that is similar to what it advertises and hopes people will pay attention to it. Trolls are people, bots are programs.
