4# boxes available at Chaos

Hi,

I am making more 4# EVA core boxes and Bo offered to take some to Chaos for our western friends.

The 1" wide and 1.5 wide strips dap or gorilla glue easily to a core. these base layers are lasting up to 3 years and are still going strong. they are all .5 thick making for a 1" base layer when glued together.

all you need is to wrap a few layers of reqular blue, volera, 2lbs crosslink, whatever foam floats your boat and you have a good to go weapon.

The sizes are ($5 ea)
1" wide, 50" long (for bats)
1.5" wide, 72" long (for a 36" blue/red flat blade)
2" wide, 72" long (for red flat blade)

All are prerouted to fit .524 kitespar and .5 fiberglas

There will also be 2" wide, by 72" long 4# boxes routered to 1" for Bandshoppe for making glaives. These are ($20 ea - due to the expense of the foam).

I will include instructions on how to assemble the core/box layer.

Barley, count me in for two of the 1.5" strips.

the band shoppe routed ones are 1.0" thick, so they are better than anyhting i have used to date. i have built a 6'4 mini glaive that passed at rhun in june, with a 1" thick peice of cross poly and a .25 of volera, 2 layers of yoga mat for stabby. just make sure you put the volera against the 4 lbs foam, helps take out the bite of the weapon.

For individuals wanting the 1" boxes, i can send a pre-cut sheet of volara 19"X26", a 3# cap and a stabby tip for the bat. You need to provide the core, pommel, handle wrap and cover.

It would be $15 for the foam kit.

PM me if you would like the 1" core foam, volara, cap and stabby tip for the bat.
