McMaster-Carr sells a 10 foot 1/8" wall 1" outside diameter fiberglass pole for $25. Only 3 bucks more for 2 extra feet vs a band-shoppe and because I can pick it up, I save a lot on shipping. Has anyone used these before?
Any reason not to go with the McMaster-Carr option? (also I am already getting a roll of EVA from them.)

Ah in the Mcmaster Carr link, yeah solid square, but the 1" is the smallest size they carry.
