Can I use PVC pipe

hey everyone im just wondering if i can ues pvc pipe for my wepons ( mainly swords) and if i can can it be hollow please awnser soon i want to get working on my arsinal.

It matters where your buying from, and the tax. I buy from this web site http://www.mgs4u.com/fiberglass-tube-rod.htm. Use the 3/8 in soild round rods for normal short blues and 1/2 in for longer blues. NOW this is just the place I buy from so there could be a better supplier, and I have heard that square rods are also better. But i havent had any problems with these ones.

Now.... I don't think PVC is bad for new people to use and will most likly be cheaper. But fiberglass is stronger and will last you way longer. Fiberglass triumphs PVC no contest.

If you can, avoid using 3/8" FG, even for small blue weapons. If you use hollow FG, you're going to want to be using .524 kite spar. This, however, is extremely light, so making weight can be difficult, and the cores are expensive.

Do yourself a favor and stick with solid fiberglass. If you can't order online for cores, then just search around at local hardware stores and the like. 1/2" can be a bit difficult to find, so you may have to resort to 3/8", which can be found with fence posts in stores like Farm and Fleet, or Rural King. If you do end up using 3/8", do not cut the core longer than 30". Anything above that and it will fail for flex. Alternatively, you can double up 3/8" cores to make a larger, sturdier core, but you would have to ask Sir Bo about that, as he has more experience with double-coring than I.

Are you one of the younger kids that showed up last Sunday? If so Barley was the guy that. Showed you the ropes and would be another good local to talk to. I also believe your mom said you guys are actually from a little north of Madison and had a proper fleet farm so you might be able to get fiberglass there.
