Interesting idea. The projectile would have to meet the 2.5 rule and it would be pretty heavy so i dont think you could push a thing like that with lung power. You might have to make some kind of Bellows thing to use enough air and the shaft would probubly need to be hollow with the back end open. Ok part of me wants to try to make one. I am sure some experts will chime in soon enough and hopefully i dont get chewed out for my reply as im not considered a foamsmithing expert, yet. Interesting idea though. I look forward to like you seeing if it has been done.

I noticed you put this up in here and on the dag boards.
No you can not use blow darts. You can not use ANYTHING not outlined in the rules.
If something is not used in regular Be/Dag combat, it is not **** allowed.
Additionally, there is really nothing allowed in Bel that is not allowed in Dag, and vice versa. Do not try to play us against each other. You appear to be a kid asking dad for something after mam says no.

*sigh* I'm gonna make the point I make every time blow darts come up.

PVC+your teeth+ a full contact sport = less teeth for you.

There's no way to have blow darts without risking your teeth. Period.

Something that is great fun for kids and people sujected to them is to make blow guns from pvc and take mini marshmellows and use them as ammo. They fly well and when they get dried out kinda hurt. Hours of fun for about $3.
But not for fighting.

I'm not trying to play you against each other. please don't take it the wrong way. I'm simply new to boffer is all and I'm learning. i asked in both forums because i was curious if one allowed it while the other didn't, and what different peoples take on the concept was.

With as large as you would need the "dart" using your lung volume and force would be impossible. A bellows would not be able to be regulated for force as all mechanically projected weapons must be. The only way would be a mechanical compressor with a regulator......and that would never be allowed on the field due to no guidlines being descrbed in the BoW, and it would be nothing close to a medieval weapon. Plus, there was the whole losing teeth thing that was mentioned above............ For private use, it would be kinda fun to get a t-shirt cannon, and launch our "rocks" at people.

I've been considering making/buying one to launch tunics at garb offenders.
