Where to buy arrows?

I have been searching and searching the forums for a topic that addresses this, with no luck I'm deciding to make my own thread. I got a bow for Christmas, and have been anxious to try it out at some Belegarth practices coming up. However, I have been to about 4 Walmart's in my area, and it seems they aren't selling arrows anymore? I don't know if this is the same for the areas around you guys but I was wondering if anyone knew any other good places either online or a store that I can go to to get good, college budget friendly arrows?

Sorry if this was already addressed and I just didn't find it

Thank You,
Scott

Look up online for an archery or hunting goods store if you want something local. it really depends on what your willing to spend. I'll caution you not to go cheep, If you go cheep, you go home....disapointed in the end.

Alright thanks Fitz, I also had a question for you. I was looking at your arrow head to design and I think it's really cool, but I was wondering where you got those foam balls that you use for the arrow heads? I just bought a bunch of arrow head kits from edhellen so I'm not going to need any for a while, but I just wanted to know in case I found myself in a store that sells them, or ordering from a website that sells them.

Thanks,
Scott

Target, in the tennis section. They are called the Penn QST.

I go to my local archery shop and buy the cheapest spiral carbon fiber shafts they have, at full length. They dont splinter much, and they are not a hole in my pocket when stepped on.

i got mine from cabella's years ago. the exact type is discontinued, but like everyone else said, the cheaper ones break faster, so it's worth it to get the better ones. be sure to get the longer ones, like 32".

I know these are a tad short, but in your professional opinion do you think these ones would be good?

The problem with getting anything less then 32 is that you might run into not having a 28 inch draw, however you could make it work with the ones your looking at since they are 31. Also you should look into Cabela's when they have sales for carbon arrows, I have seen them go down to $50.00 for a dozen from time to time.

This route is cheaper if you're going to go for a full dozen.

Cabela's Carbon Hunter - Per 12
