At the top of the page, you will notice it says "Belegarth Medieval Combat Society." What is the relationship between Pokeballs and Medieval combat?

Seen a rock shaped like a pokeball, I'm sure. You can be that guy if you want.

Rocks made to look like pokeballs would be pretty cool, and I know one other who also wants to try that.

It is "legal", but it is not medieval in any way. If you want to throw poke balls at your freinds, start your own **** pokemon game. If you want to throw rocks at you freinds at Bel, make Rocks.
What's wrong with doing medieval combat stuff? It does not make you special or different or original in any way to make stupid modern **** for use in Bel. I just makes you a *. Sadly, there are alot of * out there who encourage this kind of ****. I do not blame you for thinking it would be ok. But it's not.

Okay, see, I can have **** and giggles of all kinds in all sorts of places. When I come to Belegarth events, I go there specifically to fight a medieval/fantasy role-playing sport. If you want to play a game other than Belegarth, one that involves flinging Pokeballs around, then by all means do so, but understand that this is a forum for Belegarth discussion.

Fork's responses are usually like that. He's an opinionated * with a wealth of information about the sport. Wade through the cussing and insults and he has some valuable info.

But hey, if your local field doesn't care if you roll them out one day and it doesn't majorly * anyone off, go for it. Get a short laugh, have a good story about it, and at the end of the day leave them in your workspace as a conversation piece. Sure, they'll probably only tolerate 'em once in a blue moon, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth the lulz to do it just once, just don't ruin anyone else' time doing so. If your locals are cool with it, then you're golden.

The ONLY thing people do not like about this game is people who can't follow the rules. One of the rules is that this is a medieval fantasy game. That mean fantasy **** WITHIN THE MEDIEVAL THEME. Doing blatantly modern **** is cheating. It also shows your charater, showing all the world they you WILL cheat as soon as you think you can get away with it.
In new people, it demonstrate a total LACK of desire to be part of the prganisation and marks you out as an * here to ruin other people good time.If you do something and it * 3 of 4 people off, YOU ARE A **** * and should be punched in the throat.
Furthermore, if you the kind of * who will steal another fighters name(which be puting it as your first name on the forum), just **** steal it like a man. *.

For the love of all that's fuzzy use spellcheck FB. I'm not going to defend the pokeball idea but With Kaiu's name it looks like jester is there as more of a title (goofing off and entertaining nobility maybe) or a unit reference since he's in Jester's Court. He simply clarified that it wasn't his fighting name to avoid confusion with Jester.

Ok here's a different angle.
YES! you can use poke ball looking rocks. This is America after all.
You can use them at Amtgard events. You can use them in a LARP you make up with your friends. You can use them for myriad purposes. Please, make like a hundered and have fun.
But at Belegarth events, we are doing medieval combat. If you want to throw stuff in our combat, it it either a Javlin or a rock. Since we call them rock, we would like you make them look like rocks.

The laugh would be at weapons check when I fail it for being utterly non-period. Yes I would laugh and smile, but the answer would still be "no."

I have a fun idea for rocks that is period, safe and funny as hell (to me anyway). I dont want to blow it though until i get my hands on the item and take it to weapons checks. Half the fun is the surprise.
