Carbon fiber cores

Has anyone ever tried to use carbon fiber for a core, if so, did you form it axial or what? Any advice really.

Batman and Gorg have, to my knowledge, done a lot of building on carbon fiber. As I gather, there are two primary types of carbon fiber used for weapons, but the only one I can remember off the top of my head is twill carbon fiber, which can be used in swung weapons. Beyond that, try getting in touch with one of the two above.
