Foam adhesive

Everywhere i look, I see DAP as the preferred adhesive of choice. I'm a first time builder, making a coreless shield, and was talking to a guy at Home depot about the materials i'm using. He suggested loctite brand foam board adhesive, construction grade. Has anyone used something like this, and how does/might it compare to DAP?
Thanks in advance.

I don't have any personal experience with it, but I'd say that if it's more expensive than DAP, then just stick with DAP.

If you want, try it out and report back on how well it works.

It's within a buck or two for similar usage amount. It also isn't as big a thing with the fumes. I picked up a tube and will run a test

One of the major advantages of DAP is that it doesn't dry "rigid." It's perfectly fine with being stretched and bent, as happens with foam that is used in weapons and shields. This loctite stuff might or might not have the same properties, but that's why DAP is so perfect for what we do.

My initial tests with the loctite seem to be working well. The shield core looks pretty solid at the moment. I'll report officially after wolfpack as to a) did it pass check, and b) how did it hold up to a fighting day
