does any one have experience or know if this is good for sword making?

i also thought that you could only use dap after it dried, would it still create a good bond if applied right after and let to cure? if not whats a good adhesive for applying the above linked foam to a core? link of video im referencing below

I use the dura tube and I am a big fan. And it works fine if you glue it and stick the tube on there wet.
