Hi, I built a dozen or so swords, and let a youth group fight with them. They love it so much I want to have them build their own on a camping event. So my question is:

Is it safe to Dap at a campsite?

I will probably be 20-30 feet away from where a campfire had been 16 hours previously, and a 15-20 feet away from a propane cooking stove that had been used recently.

You'll be fine. DAP is flammable, but not explosively so. Being outdoors will basically negate any possible dangers as long as you're not like, actively putting fire in to DAP.

Just remember that the new gear should cure before you fight with it. Some adhesives have multi-day curing requirements.

^What Ana said. DAP really needs 24 hours to set up enough to use without breaking bonds. If you can give it a week to cure, that's best.
