for the history geeks who don't mind screaming controversial articals on the Bakumatsu and the Shinsengumi.

more for cultural referance than garb really, but some... interesting reading about all the factions of the time.

there are arguments for and against. Right now I'm tilting a bit toward against as the argument for I've seen (but I'm sure not all the ones out there) read a bit conspiracy theory-ish. Doesn't mean they are wrong, just that I didn't find them convincing.
