Axe fighting style

Eh' well i dont know where this would go, but i belive this is good enough. Ok, Im sick of seeing the same old boreing stuff, Sword & shield, florentine( however u spell it), ect. I dont see much axe's so i figure i might try a spin at that. Since ya'll are more seasoned then me please post some tips on fight with axe as off-hand (w/ sword) or axe as main weapon and a short blue sword as off-hand, and any other axe fighting tips.
