Looking to buy higher end male garb

Postby Palantir30 » Fri May 05, 2006 12:56 pm

Hi there- I have a friend doing a medieval wedding and I found that I didnt have any links for good medieval garb, since I've always just made fighting gear myself.

He's looking for late medieval collared tunic/doublet (maybe with pants) suitable for wearing to to his wedding (cost can go as high as 5 or $600 for good quality.)

Anybody got good links for where to start looking?

check out museumreplicas.com. They have some pretty high quality period clothing for men and women. The nobleman's clothing looks especially exquisite (sp?). It's not quite 5 or 6 hundred dollars but it's definitely to rich for my blood. Check it out and let me know what ya think.

If you are still in need of good garb, I have a friend that is very good at making higher quality garb. She is very good at making dublets and other more complicated patterns. I'm sure she could use the extra cash, too. Let me know if you are still interested and I can give you her information.
