couls I be a dark medievel elf?

ok, so everybody tells me it's vliche, butI want to be a dark elf gone from the shadow of the lgiht good.

any hints or tips on types of weapons?

your character is fantastical, so have whatever weapons you want.

i have had suggested to me, the best weapon combo to start learning with is florentine (2 swords) and then after awhile start picking up a shield.

if you make your swords a little longer (30-32 inches) that would be somewhat elfish. then when you get your first shield, you can just make it a design you think suitable for your race.

Well, the term for a dark elf is a Drow. The most famed would be Drizz't Do'Urden.

The average Drow warrior uses twin scimitars, but it differs from House to House. But if I were you, I would most likely be doing florentine swords, about 28-30 inches in length, depending on your preference.

I myself am a Drow of the Realm of Shannara I can tell you I run Flourintine, It works really well. Though I find I live longer if I sneak around the back and kill from behind. There are several advantages to being a dark elf No one expects much honour from you so ganging is legal. Although i would discourage it at practice as the point of practice is to get better at fighting face to face. Also You are pretty Open to any kind of garb you want seeing as we have no garb rules other then those set down by our realms. I run around in a black top with black gaucho pants. My sleeves are covered in blue sequins which would generaly be discouraged though we can get away with it due to "magical abilities".
