Arrakis wrote:You know, there are only a very few possible two-color combinations that use normal or heraldic colors. Why not pick whatever colors you want, then use them in a way no one else does? If you want to do Black and Gold, go for it, just don't cut your stuff so you look like a wannabe Hellhammer or Golden Lion. If you wanna do red and black, go for it, just don't end up looking like the EBF.
A unique symbol (or, in heraldic terms, device) helps with this, too.
A specific dead tree symbol in black standing on a black base on a field of green sounds perfectly workable to me.

Ummm, no if you were to see the symbol it has nothing to do with Twilight. Although i suppose, a big fan of Twilight would be able to make the connection

We got our idea from this tattoo and have simplified it and added things to make it our own.

I think Angmarth has a post about Heraldry- many have theirs on there- from unit, realm and individual.deadwood children wrote:http://the-surreal-arts.deviantart.com/art/Dead-Tree-Tattoo-110280625

There's vampires in Twilight?
Think about it... they sparkle, they live in the woods, they don't have sex... they're **** fairys.

And then they'd all explode.
