OK, but somebody needs to make a siege tower, and I get to man the ramparts with giant foam boulders that I can throw down on the besiegers.

More exciting than fighting there, we could go work there! They need people to work and are willing to teach! You won't get paid... in fact, you might have to pay them a little, in addition to finding your own food and lodging, but seriously... how many people can say they've helped build a castle using 13th century techniques?

That really is cool. Think about it, a man could start building it and have his son helping him as its finished.

For authenticity, according to the drawings, I hope they plan on clearing those woods from the sides of the castle by at least a bowshot.
