Need help for project.

Postby Runner » Wed May 19, 2010 7:09 pm

Hey. I've been gone for a long time. Anyways, I have one last project to complete before I graduate from high school. In my AP Literature class, we've recently read a few of the Canterbury Tales. Our teacher holds a "medieval feast" for her AP Lit students every year.
I'm supposed to dress up as a textile guildsman. I need some idea as to what these type of people would have worn during the late 14th to early 15th century in England. I'm not too well versed in medieval culture and history as some of you are, so I ask for a little help.
Thank you for your time.

My favorite Chaucer tale was the one about Chandelier and Petty Coat.

No need to be well-versed in Medieval culture; just Google-Fu. Read up multiple sources and accept concurring advice. Hope you like panty hose.
