Need Garb sites

Postby Dragoon » Wed Dec 01, 2010 12:17 am

Does anyone got any websites they use to buy garb that is good? Trying to upgrade from cut up clothes to something more professional.
Thank you

There are a few things you can do. Let people know what you're looking for, monster garb, or human garb.
1. Search the boards a little bit, there are plenty of people that make garb.
2. Learn to sew, I had to, it's not to difficult, I like my stuff and I dont use patterns.
3. Ebay.
4. Google.

I've purchased from Armstreet and have been pleased with their stuff - http://armstreet.com/

I have my eye on some items from these companies but have not purchased. I have heard good things about the first and second but haven't heard anything about the third.

Historic Enterprises - http://www.historicenterprises.com/
(odd. I am getting an error message when I try to go to this site OK, they're back up)

Linen Garb - http://www.linengarb.com/
Revival Clothing - http://www.revivalclothing.com/

Hope this helps.

Rufus of Dragon Coast

I found everything I need. Thanks though. Edhellen by the way has garb but they are out of stock and doesn't show anything right now except cloaks I believe.

I don't like 'em, generally. I bought a tunic and a tabbard from them back when I first started fighting in 2007. Their prices aren't great considering the tunic I bought from them needed the armpits restitched two practices in (holes developed) and the tabbard I bought from them hadn't been preshrunk (that is, the contrasting color region on the tabbard shrank differently than the rest of it when I washed it for the first time == utterly ruined).

Well the only garb I really need would be a tunic and pants but I don't want to pay $100 for each. I am very poor laughing my * off. Edhellen has a good tunic but they are out of stock on a lot of stuff. Never bought from them and probably won't if you didn't think they did a good job. If you know of anyone or any site that could make me a tunic and/or pants for not a fortune let me know.
Thank you

I am trying to get all suited up again since a lot of my stuff is gone and in the state(not meaning like Illinois or Idaho) I am in it is more of a challenge.

PM Bronwyn Trea. Shes on the boards, and she makes good stuff that's pretty inexpensive.
