Does anyone have any suggestions, or better yet, patterns, to help with putting this together?

Looks like it's just a long tunic and a cloak.

Don't be obtuse.

IIRC isn't Akkadian basically the same as Babylonian?

Try digging around google, heres the search I did

Until someone comes along that knows what they're talking about.

No'Vak, they preceded the Babylonians and had a lot in common with the Sumerians. Obtuse (as you would put it) or not... it really is just a long tunic and an animal pattern cloak. I think that would suffice unless we're outsourcing garb nazis from the SCA to judge every seam and the material itself.

Photo, I have a book that covers them briefly... I'll scan the limited pictures I have and post them tonight. The book is "The Ancient Warrior 3000BCE - 500CE," by Martin J. Dougherty. The content is only covered on 4 or 5 pages though. Your picture seems accurate with what I've seen.

I can provide you a scan of a helmet, an archer, some stone carving, and an axe head. To my understanding, their garb is VERY simple... even more so than the Greeks. Pictures are my limit though, I've never been big on garbing and patterns, I let someone else do my sewing:) If I remember correctly, Arrakis had some good links to tunic patterns.

Like I said, I'll get them to you tonight, I'm on my way out the door now.

Scanner's been giving me some trouble. I'm going to try to find the same or similar graphics online for ya and I'll PM them to you so you know when they're up.
