Hakmahs

Postby Therick » Tue Jan 25, 2011 9:48 pm

One of my buddies mentioned these to me a while back since i dont have any garb made/bought yet (recently got into the fighting) and i was wondering if anybody knew how to make them or what materials are used for them

he explained to me that they are a type of pants that are slightly stretchy and fairy loose around the legs

if anybody knows where i can go to find a pattern and materials or would wish to explain in the forums either would be great

thanks

Hakama are a traditional Japanese pant worn but their medieval men. You should be able to find examples/patterns anywhere on the net by doing a google search. If you're looking at buying some there is a post a bit down this forum called Hakama Mart by Bronwyn Trea. PM her for some gooooooooood Haks. You can also go to www.museumreplicas.com and find a good, traditional, study pair there.
