What is the historical accuracy of this armor?

I've been watching Spartacus on Netflix recently, and I think these guys look really pimp. I am looking to found yet another chapter of the Sith, and I want them to ultimately become a unit of gladiators, and so I was wondering if it would be accurate to model garb/armor off of these pimp * dudes.

If they're going to be a sister unit to one themed around a bunch of warriors from a high-tech galaxy, why worry about historical accuracy?

Do what looks pimpest.

That is a good question, but while their personas/unit may not be historically accurate, that does not necessitate that their garb and armor be inaccurate as well, am I right? I was inspired by the image below, but of course, being a good member of this community, i want to keep it medieval....looking :D

If you're looking for them to be a side unit to the Sith, why not make them themed around the Native Sith and early Lords? Lots of info in the graphic novels and, unfortunately, the names of the Jedi that are involved the most elude me at the moment.

****.

Ah well. Consider that stuff.

Such units will be founded in the future...the Sith will continue to expand across the galaxy...I mean Middle Earth under many names and under many guises...
To me, the presently-existing Imperial Guard could work towards looking like a band of knights (without the title, of course) if they get the funds together to commission some Barbutas to be made for them, much like this one crafted by Forkbeard:

Again, medieval in appearance, but of another galaxy in name. Again we must ask ourselves what our true concern is, and as far as I can tell, appearance counts for more.

Do 'em up in white and they can be your storm troopers.

Actually, they'll be done up in red and be my Imperial Guard.

Dude an actual mandalorian unit would be pretty sweet.

But again, Mandalorian = awesome. I'm getting a Mandalorian tattoo, the skull crest on boba fett's shoulder armor.

Ah well. Consider that stuff.

Still can't remember the name of the graphic novel, but Exar Kun and Ulic Qel-Droma were the Jedi I was thinking of. The same books also give a look at the early Mandalorians.

Actually, it's a chain of comics with a Graphic Novel that came out LATER. The series are "Tales of the Jedi: Dark Lords of the Sith" and "Tales of the Jedi: The Sith War." Don't know if you're familiar at all, but it gives *' info on the fall of Exar Kun and Ulic Qel-Droma along with a bit more of a look into the Sith at large.

As I'm looking more into it, just look for the Tales of the Jedi books. They seem to be what you'll need.
