Swordbrother Bam wrote:You can also just charges the members of your unit for the sash. That is what we do because we keep about 10 on hand at any point and time. If they lose their, they pay to replace it, and they pay to get it in the first place. Oh also, if they lose they also have to be camp * for a weekend.

Also, 5 bucks per is about as cheap as you're gonna get, considering the work/materials/machine usage involved in making them.
I've already started having Ora make me one, they look quite amazing.

Because I am able to recruit that many within 2 months or so.
1 practice... (1 sunday) I recruited 5, and I did not even recruit, they came up and asked me.
Not only that, I am going to be starting a Dark Templars' practice on Saturday at a seperate park. "Attention......." I can make my own, was curious on how cheap cu sith sells theirs.

*shrugs* Might wanna make sure they stay before buying all those.
That's just an idea, though.

Make sure that you continue to attend the full realm practices so that everyone's skills continue to scale with the local group. Unit practices on an alternate night are a good idea, though.
Swordbrother Bam wrote:Yeah I only charge what it costs me to have the sashes made. I am not trying to make a profit from unit sashes. To me, a unit sash is something to worn with pride, so that is why losing it makes you camp * for a weekend event. Hell don't lose it at a big event...lawd help you! On that same note, $5 a sash is really, really cheap!
If you are going to run you own unit, and I am happy to help with any and all questions, do you self a favor and charge dues, and keep a separate checking account with access to PayPal....this is the best tip I can give. After years of getting frustrated and putting my own money out there for stuff, I finally did this and man has it resolved more of my stress with the unit.
