Leather Tooling Tricks

I think this is from the Armor Archive Board...I'm leaning towards the Armor Archive Board.

They suggested using Cooking cutters to as a way of putting a design into leather. Here are a few that would be good for a Pheonix and then one for Calontir (SCA kingdom)

That's an interesting idea. Most of the cookie cutters I've seen are rather flimsy, but I suppose they could be used just to mark the outline for cutting.
